From Friction to Flow: Carcare’s Momentum Accelerates
Just 12 months ago, Carcare was firmly in scale-up mode. The product had strong validation in Sweden, and early UK pilots showed promise. Fast forward to the 2025 AGM, and the shift from promise to proven performance is clear. This is now a company with product-market fit, measurable customer value, and a rapidly growing footprint in both the UK and the Nordics.
Performance That Speaks Volumes
At the heart of Carcare’s offering is its ability to drive operational efficiency, and the numbers back it up. The average preparation time across the dealer base has dropped from 15.8 to 12.7 days, a 19.6% improvement. In Sweden, where the market average stock days have worsened from 64 to 72 days, Carcare’s customers are moving in the opposite direction.
This matters. Faster delivery times mean reduced holding costs, better stock turn, and ultimately improved profitability. It’s estimated that dealers have saved over £11 million collectively, with ROI figures well into double digits. Top-performing prep centres are now completing vehicles in just 3–5 days.
UK Growth: From Pilot to Platform
The standout milestone this past year was the formation of Carcare’s UK subsidiary. With 32 sites live and integrations completed with significant systems, including RTC, Keyloop, Pinewood, Reynolds & Reynolds, and leading valeting platforms, the infrastructure is now in place for scale.
What’s more important is that product-market fit has been achieved. A number of successful groups have joined the platform, and the early adopters are seeing tangible results. While some groups remain hesitant, with previous tech disappointments still fresh, Carcare’s focus on delivery over hype is starting to change the narrative.
A refreshed brand identity, including the memorable slogan “It’s automagic,” has helped sharpen the message and unify the offering. The recently launched ranking system—where dealers can achieve Bronze to Diamond status based on operational excellence—is encouraging internal best practices and driving performance.
Nordic Expansion and Strategic Partnerships
Beyond the UK, the Nordic growth story continues to evolve. A new partner strategy is accelerating traction in Norway and Finland, where a strategic collaboration with automotive consultancy Promira is off to a strong start.
Promira, already embedded in the dealership world through its work with Škoda and platforms like CITNow Solutions, has now integrated Car Care into its consultancy packages. Their approach — comprehensive delivery rather than one-day training — is a natural fit. The early signs are encouraging, with customer satisfaction in Finland rated at 100 NPS, and electric vehicles now accounting for over a third of the car parc.
The fleet opportunity is also growing across the region. With clear applications in multi-site and multi-brand environments, Carcare is becoming a key enabler of consistency and efficiency across complex operations.
Platform Readiness
From a product perspective, the integration roadmap is well advanced, and a new customer success platform, delivered in partnership with Startdeliver, ensures that onboarding and account management processes are scaled.
This matters because the next chapter is about growth. With a strong foundation in Sweden, real traction in the UK, and expanding partnerships across the Nordics, Carcare is now firmly in the delivery-led growth phase.
Building Trust in a Cautious Market
One recurring theme at the AGM was trust. Many dealers have been stung before by tech businesses promising the earth and underdelivering. Carcare stands apart by leading with outcomes, not overselling.
That trust is being earned deal by deal, integration by integration. Carcare’s difference lies in its ability to connect seamlessly with existing dealer systems and deliver value, from reduced lead times to measurable margin gains.
The result? A growing base of referenceable customers and a culture of advocacy that’s beginning to shift sentiment in a traditionally cautious sector.
Final Thoughts
Carcare’s 2025 AGM marked a pivotal moment for the business — transitioning from startup to scale-up, from promise to platform. The product works. The market is ready. And the team is in place to deliver.
